Keeping Your Skin Wrinkle Free

Most people wish to have remarkable looking skin. Whilst certain things will be out of our control there are ways in which we can assist our skin in looking younger.

Genetics is one area that is difficult to do anything about as some races age better than others because some skin shades and skin types age slower or and some people are predisposed to naturally having good skin. So let's look at the things we do have control over and what should make an enormous difference in how our skin will look.

Firstly, the old expression that beauty is only skin deep is not true. Beauty definitely does start from the inside with proper hydration and nutrition. Eating nutritious healthy foods will help you have a healthier and radiant looking skin. Firstly keep away from greasy fast food as this will cause nothing but skin care problems. Secondly drink lots of water to assist your skin and body in being properly hydrated and DON'T smoke! Smoking causes skin to age very fast, so try and get the help you need in quitting.

One of the most important things you can do is limit your exposure to sun. Certain people or certain skin types are able to tolerate sun exposure far better than others, but a good rule is to remember that the sun will damage your skin. A tan is your body's reaction to sun damage , just like callous form when heavy manual work is done with hands or dancers that get them on their feet. So always remember to protect yourself by wearing a good sunscreen and hat when outdoors.

Another very important step that most people forget is to cleanse their skin daily. This should be done first thing in the morning and the last thing in the evening before going to bed. This will help keep your pores from getting clogged as well as removing excessive oils and dirt. Use an excellent quality cleanser and not just water and soap.

Another thing you'll need to do is apply a toner after washing to help remove any leftover cleanser and to tighten your pores before applying your moisturizer. Remember to select a moisturizer that suites your skin type.

A recommendation when buying a daytime moisturizer is to select one with a built in sunscreen and at night you should consider applying a thicker and richer moisturizer so your skin can receive the benefits while you are sleeping.
