How Stretch Marks Are Eliminated

The abatement or shrinking of scars, lesions, and stretch mark removal depends on a process called "skin remodeling". The skin is structured to heal wounds promptly to prevent blood loss and infection. Scars are created from a quickly formed "collagen glue" that the body accumulates into an injured area for protection and strength. In ideal skin repair, wounded skin is quickly closed, then the healed area is slowly regenerated to eliminate the residual collagen scars and blend the skin area into nearby skin.

Scar collagen is removed and replaced with a mixture of skin cells and imperceptible collagen fibers. This remodeling may continue in the skin area for about 10 years. In children, the remodeling rate is high and scars are usually quickly erased from damaged skin areas. But as we reach adulthood, this rate diminishes and tiny scars may remain for years. One way to accelerate remodeling is to induce a small amount of controlled skin damage with a needle, laser, acid, or by exfoliating or abrading the skin as in a massage routine, and then letting the body's healing mechanisms rebuild the skin area by itself.

Another method is to help the body with the use of skin repairing activators that boost the body's natural healing mechanisms and ensure an even better final result. This can be done by using products that incorporate natural bioactive ingredients that accelerate the process of skin remodeling. These ingredients also help activate your skin's metalloproteinases and eliminate damaged proteins such as deep scars created by overstretching or sun-damaged collagen and elastin fibers. At the same time they help activate the processes that shields your body against excessive breakdown of protein.

Injury Healing and Removal of Stretch Marks

Once an injury has appeared on the skin, both skin cells and connective tissue cells (fibroblasts) begin multiplying to repair the damage. The fibroblasts form a matrix upon which the skin cells can migrate to and fill. It is the balance between the rate of multiplication of fibroblasts versus skin cells that is important here. If the fibroblasts grow too quickly, they can form a dense network that is not as easily penetrated by the skin cells and that results in a noticeable scar. If the skin cells keep up with the fibroblasts, then little scar tissue is created and the skin has a more normal look after the injury has healed. Thus it is IMPERATIVE that skin healing is controlled and advances at a quick pace.

This is where natural ingredients play an important part. A facial massage method is planned to "remove" the dead skin layer by layer, at a speed your body can act upon while rebuilding itself with its own capabilities and applying the help of natural skin rejuvenation activators found in some products.

One of these ingredientes are the bioactive elements discovered in the snail's secretion that boost the skin's regenerative mechanisms

In addition to speeding up removal of damaged protein in the skin, natural ingredients improve the skin's natural regenerative responses by stimulating new capillary formation and thus carrying more oxygen through the blood to zones were it has stimulated an intensification of the biosynthesis of proteoglycans, collagen, elastin and the water holding glycosaminoglycans that supply your skin with enhanced pressure withstanding and stretching capacity.

Natural ingredients restore damaged cells and eliminate toxins, hair follicles are depurated of debris, germs are destroyed, new collagen, elasting and water holding cells are created. The Final Result: YOUR SKIN CLEAR OF STRETCH MARKS

Liposuction – Before And After

Many people today have become extremely conscious about their appearance and presentation. Women, in particular, take particular pride in their appearance and will go to great expense to appear as attractive as possible. Women of all ages, and men too, are turning to cosmetic surgery to improve their looks and build their self confidence.

Liposuction is becoming a common and popular form of cosmetic surgery as a quick way of removing excess fat from the body and improving appearance in an easy and cost-effective manner. It is becoming a popular option for anyone who wants quick results!

Liposuction is a plastic surgery procedure whereby fat deposits are surgically removed from a specific area of the body. It includes, but is not limited to, abdomen, arms, knees, thighs, breasts, buttocks and other areas where excess fat accumulates. Surgeons recommend that people within their normal weight range will achieve the best result from the procedure.

Today, liposuction is considered a relatively simple and safe procedure with a short recovery period. However, some people – particularly women – are disappointed with the results. A major reason for this is having high expectations that cannot be met by the surgery and a lack of understanding of the facts about liposuction before and after the procedure.

A few things should be understood about liposuction before and after surgery when you make your decision to go ahead. Only with a full understanding of all the facts can you really decide whether this type of surgery is suitable for you. Hence, before you make your decision you should discuss your expectations and concerns with at least two specialized surgeons and seek their expert opinion.

Many times women want to have as much fat as possible removed from an area of their body in one operation. Sometimes this is possible, but frequently this would invite serious side-effects including the risk of shock and can also deliver an undesirable result. Other complications are the possibility of clot formation in the area where a canula has been inserted for too long a period, or a lumpy appearance in the region where fat has been removed.

The outcome for the liposuction procedure can be greatly affected post-operative draining. After the fat is removed, the usual procedure is to leave the incisions open to allow draining of excess fluid and blood, and to control edema.

Absorbent pads are placed over the affected area which capture the drained fluid. The pads are held in place with a compression liposuction garment. For surgery on the face and neck the liposuction garment is generally worn for about 18 to 36 hours. For other areas of the body the compression garment is worn until the draining has finished.

In addition to liposuction compression garments and absorbent pads, there are several other ways to drain the fluid rapidly including leaving the incision open so the fluid can drain out naturally.

Rapid drainage is encouraged because it will assist in a faster post-operative healing process, reduce pain considerably, and also reduce the formation of bruising. A comprehensive understanding of liposuction before and after surgery will help to produce a satisfactory outcome.

How To Get Rid Of Wrinkles Around Your Eyes

While the signs of aging are impossible to escape forever, there are steps you can take to rejuvenate your skin. The delicate areas around the eyes are the most susceptible to wrinkling, which is why many people are eager to find a way to get rid of wrinkles around their eyes. Fortunately, there are a number of proven and highly effective alternatives that can reduce or even eliminate many fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area. Whether you are looking for a non-surgical or surgical option, you can easily find the solution that is right for your needs and your budget.

BOTOX

Every year, millions of people choose to have BOTOX injections as a way to eliminate wrinkles and fine lines. How exactly does this process work? In a procedure that can take less than 10 minutes, a doctor injects a weak strain of botulism under the skin. While dangerous in other contexts, this use of botulism paralyzes the facial muscles under the skin. The effect is that most patients notice significantly smoother skinner and fewer wrinkles in just a few days. While these results can be both dramatic and impressive, it is important to remember that BOTOX is not a permanent solution. You will need to have new injections performed every three to six months in order to maintain the same results.

Laser Skin Resurfacing

Laser skin resurfacing is quickly becoming one of the most popular ways to get rid of lines around the eyes. In this process, a skilled surgeon uses a special laser to essentially remove the top layer of skin and reveal the young, fresh skin underneath. The great thing about this approach is that it allows doctors to target problem areas of the face specifically. Research has shown that laser skin resurfacing is the most effective around the eyes and mouth, making it an ideal choice for aging individuals interested in minimizing lines and wrinkles in troublesome spots. However, it is also important to be aware of the potential risks. In some cases, burning, scarring, infection and changes in skin pigmentation can occur.

Cosmetic Surgery

Of course, cosmetic surgery is one of the best-known ways to reduce or even eliminate wrinkles around the eyes. The major advantage of surgical approaches is that they are often more effective than non-surgical treatments. Additionally, surgery offers a permanent solution. While the aging process can never be stopped, you can go a long ways toward slowing down the effects of again.

What are some of the most common surgical procedures used to get rid of lines around the eyes? Typical treatments include brow lifts, eyelid surgery and face lifts. Given the number of people looking to restore their youthful glow, it probably comes as no surprise to learn that these wrinkle-reducing procedures are among the most commonly performed cosmetic surgeries.

Want Your Little Girl's Hair To Grow Long?

Want your little girl's hair to grow long? If you dream of your daughter having long flowing hair, there are easy ways to accomplish this right from the start! Early cutting mistakes can hinder the accumulation of length so follow these easy steps.

Baby Hair

The hair of a baby is very fine and very fragile. It is easily worn off the back of the head just from laying in the crib. This is one reason you need to be very gentle (and patient!) Only use a soft baby brush or comb. Never use an adult brush on the babies head as it can damage the scalp and break off the hair easily. If cradle cap is a problem, use oils specifically to soften the affected area for easy removal. Never pick it off as this causes sores on the head and hair could come out as well.

Cleansing

Children's hair needs cleansing and conditioning regularly. No tears products are important to reduce trauma that may be associated with washing. There are a many products specially formulated for children's hair and more are arriving every day! Be sure to wet down hair thoroughly and apply conditioner before swimming in chlorinated pools to prevent damage. When washing and conditioning, use a conditioner that is lightweight on the hair but avoid the scalp. Sea Critters makes a great leave in detangler for kids!

Trims

Trim the hair first at about a year.Hair grows by about one half inch per month and grows at a faster rate in the spring and summer than in autumn and winter. Even if there isn't much hair there, just have the very tips trimmed by a stylist. The tips are a different texture since they were the first to grow from the scalp. After that about every 6-8 months will do. Only the very ends at this time. Don't worry about any particular style and getting the hair all one length - that will come later. Do not cut bangs into the hair! Once hair reaches the collar, it can be evened up around the perimeter into a bob. From there minimum maintenance is required to keep it growing.

The Problem with Bangs

Cutting in bangs will cause problems as the hair becomes longer. Hair tends to have a natural growth pattern of straight forward on young children. Don't be tempted to cut bangs to "keep it out of the eyes" because the hair in her eyes will eventually cover her ears. How often do you see children with the back long and the sides thin and short? This is because bangs were cut. Don't even do it once because they become more difficult to grow out as the hair texture changes.

Styling while growing hair out

Use only terry cloth pony tail holders on the hair. They don't hold as well as bands, but this fragile hair can show breakage easily from other types of pony tail holders. While the front and top are growing out, gather the hair into a topknot. It can be off to the side, straight up, or adorned with ribbons and bows. It's cute!

You will have fun styling your little girls hair when it gets some length to it! Check out the internet to learn styling and braiding techniques. Soon the time will come when she will decide herself how long she wants her hair!

Nail Biting: Causes And Consequences

Do you bite your nails often? Do you find it difficult to stop? Then welcome to the club. Nail biting is common among children although adults are not exempted from this nervous habit. Famous nail biters include Britney Spears, Eva Mendez, Lisa Marie Presley, and Elijah Wood.

Nail biting or chronic onychophagia is the act of biting the cuticle, the soft tissue around the nail or the nail itself. It occurs in 28 to 33 percent of children ages 7-10 years old, 44 percent of adolescents, 19 to 29 percent of young adults, and five percent of older adults, according to Terry M. McClanahan in his study titled “Operant Learning Principles Applied to Nail Biting.”
Another study says it is common in 45 – 60 percent of children aged eight to 11 and tends to peak between the ages of 10 and 18.

This irritating habit is more common in boys than girls, and can be seen during periods of nervousness, stress, hunger, boredom or lack of activities. In some cases, it can be a sign of a mental or emotional disorder.

Most of the time, it is harmless habit that children eventually outgrow. In both children and adults, however, nail biting usually occurs unconsciously when the person is doing something else like reading a book or watching TV.“Nail biting is often considered to be a common reaction to stress. A child or even an adult uses nail biting as a coping mechanism to relieve pent-up emotions. Dr. Ronald Bronow, a dermatologist in private practice and assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, says nail biting is a habitual condition, a common reaction to stress and boredom. Nail biters could also suffer from a poor self-image or could be punishing themselves for deeper-rooted problems or anxieties. Basically, nail biting is a rational substitution of one problem for another. In many instances nail biting is used as a tension reliever. Any kind of disharmony as a result of friends, family, work or school can trigger the habit,” explained Onychophagia.com.

“It has been documented that some people bite their nails in their sleep, sometimes exclusively. This has been linked to stress while dreaming or stress from the dream or simply stress in general. It is considered the most widespread form of mild self mutilation,” according to Wikipedia.

Apart from being unsanitary, nail biting has its own share of adverse effects. Nail biting can easily carry bacteria and other germs from the nails to the mouth. Broken skin can also be susceptible to viral and bacterial infections.

“Where a nail has been bitten too far in, bleeding might occur at the grooves or cuticles. More extremely the constant wetting of the finger can lead to yeast infection of the nail and oral herpes can actually begin to grow on the finger. Ridging, nail deformity and even nail loss can happen. Bacterial infections can lead to severe dental problems such as gingivitis,” said Onychophagia.com.

The first step in stopping this habit is to identify what’s causing it and resolving whatever problems you have. To stop fungal infections arising from nail biting, use Somasin AFS. This powerful herbal formula strengthens the immune system and stops stubborn nail infections in just seven days.

Thirsty Lips Need Daily Dose Of Moisture

Think about the things that are most important to people's morning routines.

There are those who can't function before that first cup of coffee, while others need a hot shower just to wake up. The superambitious might take a morning run. Brushing teeth, combing hair and moisturizing skin before running out the door are almost universal staples in daily beauty regimens.

But there's one thing that is often overlooked until it's too late-protecting your lips. Most people only apply lip care products when they are going to be outside for an extended period of time. But even short bursts of cold temperatures, wind, sun and dry indoor air can cause lips to quickly become a point of pain rather than pleasurable puckering. No one wants chapped, cracked or flaky lips heading into the holiday season.

Carving out 20 seconds for lip care every morning is the best way to keep lips healthy and moist. The skin on lips is thin and lacks oil glands and natural moisture, so the application of a moisturizing protectant is essential, no matter the season."

The key to keeping lips healthy and moist is simple-you have to care for them every day," said Dr. Charles Zugerman, associate professor of clinical dermatology at Northwestern University in Chicago. "A layer of lip balm applied every morning and again when it's needed throughout the day will help form a protective layer between lips and the elements."

Blistex offers more than a dozen products, and each one was designed to meet a specific lip care need. An ideal solution for daily moisturizing is the original Blistex Lip Ointment or Complete Moisture. For those who need extra relief for chapped or cracked lips, the new Lip Infusion Soothing Splash is the first-ever medicated liquid lip balm. The applicator on Lip Infusion Soothing Splash features a smooth gliding rolling tip and delivers an immediate, cooling, mint-infused, healing sensation to the lips.

Stretch Marks - Prevention And Treatment During Pregnancy

Understanding pregnancy stretch marks is your first step towards effective treatment. Pregnancy stretch marks are the scar like lines you find running across your thighs, belly, breasts or upper arms after sudden weight gain. Stretch marks occur when expanding skin is stretched to its limit and tiny tears appear in the supporting layers of skin. Common in pregnancy, stretch marks affect 50-90% of pregnant women. Eat a healthy, diverse and balanced diet that keeps your weight gain within the recommended range of 25 to 35 pounds. Stretch mark prevention will save you the trouble of getting rid of stretch marks once they've occurred. Stretch marks occur because the collagen and elastin that bind your skin are stressed during weight gain, resulting in tears in your skin's elastic fibers.

Symptoms and signs

They first appear as reddish or purple lines, but tend to gradually fade to a lighter color. The affected areas appear empty and soft to the touch.

Human skin has three different layers: the epidermis (outer layer), the dermis (middle layer), and the subcutaneous stratum (innermost layer). Stretch marks occur in the dermis, the resilient middle layer that helps the skin retain its shape. No stretch marks will form as long as there is support within the dermis. Stretching plays more of a role in where the marks occur and in what direction they run. Stretching alone is not the cause.

What Causes Stretch Marks?

Stretch marks form when your skin is stretched rapidly as happens during pregnancy. Most women develop stretch marks during the later trimesters of pregnancy though some women start to develop them as soon as their bellies start growing.

Stretch marks are actually small tears that form in the tissue that supports the skin and helps it stretch. Stretch marks represent the tearing or separation of collagen from the skin when tearing occurs. Stretch marks are not harmful or painful and usually fade over time.

Eat a healthy, diverse and balanced diet that keeps your weight gain within the recommended range of 25 to 35 pounds. A good way to get rid of stretch marks is to help repair the collagen and elastin growth in your skin. Specially formulated stretch mark creams aim to rebuild the structure and promote the rejuvenation of your skin's layers. Drink plenty of water. Hydration is important for your overall health. Laser therapy, topical medications and dermabrasion, alone or in combination have all been shown to be effective in diminishing the appearance of stretch marks. Using a laser or intense light, stretch marks are treated by flashes or beams of laser light that pass through the skin into the collagen within the second layer of skin. Postpartum laser treatments may be beneficial and are rapidly gaining in popularity.

How to Get Rid of Stretch Marks

Most of the topical treatments available should be used shortly after delivery, before they start to fade. Some women also regard a certain way plastic surgery after they are done having children. Most of the topical treatments available should be used shortly after delivery, before they start to fade. Most women believe that they can prevent stretch marks by using creams and lotions. There are many formulations on the market today that claim to help prevent stretch marks. Some of these may help moisturize your skin and reduce itching. Gaining much more than this can cause you to develop more stretch marks. Massage makes the affected area more supple, reducing stretch marks by stimulating new tissue to grow. Laser therapy is an effective way to treat pregnancy stretch marks.

Removing Stretch Marks

1. Using lasers to remove stretch marks works because it repairs the skin's natural synthesis of collagen.
2. Collagen is a protein rich compound occurring in the body that repairs and rejuvenates skin tissue.
3. Cosmetic laser treatment for stretch marks works to stimulate renewed growth of depleted collagen.
4. Choose a lotion for pregnancy stretch marks that will replenish the lost moisture and keep the skin healthy.b

Permanent Stretch Mark Removal

While this type of treatment may not be for everyone, women who are looking for a quick and efficient way to clear up unsightly stretch marks may want to consider laser treatments. Cosmetic laser treatments, such as Coolbeam and blue light therapy, are an effective way of permanently getting rid of stretch marks. Both types of treatment require little to no recovery period and can be done on an out-patient basis.

The Secret of the Hair Color

I started coloring my hair at the age of 13. I was bored with my drab hair color, and being a teenager, I was bored with life. I knew I needed a change so I saved my money and bought my first bottle of bleach. I ended up buying this gawd-awful product-that I won't name-that was sprayed on the hair. After spraying, you had to sit in the sun for an hour and it was supposed to magically turn your hair a beautiful shade of blond, like the picture they had on the bottle. Well, needless to say, my hair looked nothing like the beautiful blond hair on the bottle, but more like a frizzy, clownish, orangy cotton ball. Not a good look for most people, and especially not a good look for me.

At about 16, I learned of this wonderful product called hydrogen-peroxide. Oooooh, all my prayers had been answered. Bleach I could pour directly onto my hair and it would make my hair beautiful! Ahh, but once I bleached and removed the towel from my head for my fabulous new hair reveal, I was again left with a wiry, orangy, frizzy mess. Again, not a good look for me.

A few years later I discovered the best invention known to womankind. Hair color in a bottle. What more could a woman want? Such a happy day that was! I still get a little tickle in my heart thinking of how happy I was at seeing all those different shades on the shelves. It looked like a rainbow, a blond to black rainbow, but nonetheless, it was my rainbow and I found my pot of gold!

I am telling you, ladies, a bad day can be cured by getting a new hair color, adding some highlights, or even adding some dark streaks. There is no limit to what we can do, the fun we can have doing it, and how good we can look when we get it just right! We may be stuck going to the same old job, driving the same old car, doing the same old-same old every day, but we can always change our hair! It that doesn't make you happy, then I don't know what will.

I have since gone over to the "dark" side and really like it. I went from bleach blond to black and I have since settled for an in-between. I am sure I will change it in the very near future and as even though everything else will be the same in my life, at least my hair will be different!

Making The Most Out Of Menopause

During what the medical community refers to as "mid-life", both men and women undergo significant physiological changes. Women between the ages of 45 and 65 pass through a period called the climacteric. Menopause, the end of ovulation and menstruation, occurs during that period.

The changes that a woman undergoes during menopause do not affect every woman to the same extent. A survey done by the North American Menopause Society has found that 10 to 15% of the women who experience the changes associated with menopause have viewed those changes as part of a positive progression in the entire life cycle.

Many women have viewed menopause as a time of increased opportunities. As many as 60% of the women who were surveyed saw menopause as a time when they felt freer to try new things. That same percentage of women refused to associate menopause with any suggestion that they had become less "attractive".

Menopause does put a woman in position from which she must act, if she wants to avoid future heart and circulatory problems. The absence of ovulation brings with it a loss of estrogen in the woman's bloodstream. That loss can have serious health consequences.

The loss of estrogen means that the arteries of a menopausal woman suddenly lack access to the chemical that had allowed them to remain pliant. The loss of estrogen puts the woman at an increased risk for clots. It also reduces the level of high density lipoproteins and raises the level of low density lipoproteins.

Following the arrival of menopause, the process of bone loss, a process that started more than 10 years earlier, suddenly occurs at a very rapid rate. In the first five years after menopause, the rate at which a woman experiences bone loss increases annually by 2 to 5%. Women then must act to prevent developing osteoporosis.

The prevention of both heart problems and osteoporosis relies on the behavior of the woman who has gone through menopause. Such a woman benefits from engaging in regular exercise. That will strengthen both her heart and her bones. A low fat diet should help her to avoid serious heart problems. A high calcium diet should help her to maintain the strength in her bones.

Other problems associated with menopause might not respond to exercise and diet changes. Some women struggle with repeated hot flashes during menopause. Some women have trouble sleeping. Other women complain about feeling unexpected discomfort during intercourse.

The use of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can help a woman to deal with the above problems. Use of HRT might also be recommended for a woman who has urinary tract problems following menopause. Some women even feel that use of HRT has helped them to retain a good deal of their memory.

Not all women seek out the relief afforded by HRT. A growing body of evidence suggests that the combination of synthetic estrogen and progesterone can increase a woman's chances for developing breast cancer. Some women have sought relief from selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERM).

Ayurveda has been widely recognized as a system of natural health care congenial to the health needs of women. All over the world more and more women are turning to herbal medicine so that they have total control on their bodies throughout the year, throughout their lives. Natural Makeup In 5 Steps

First what are you trying to achieve with makeup?

Do you want to look naturally radiant? Like yourself, only better looking?Or do you want Halloween style makeup where makeup is painted on like a mask to hide your features?

If it is the former, the naturally pretty look you are after, well, this article is for you.

1. Moisturizer.

Apply your daily moisturizer and let your skin soak it up. Go for one with SPF15 to give you the protection you need from the aging UV rays of the sun. Spread a tissue paper over your face to blot off the excess.

2. Concealer.

Do you really need a concealer? If your dark rings are really bad, a yellow toned concealer several shades lighter than your skin tone can lighten it a little. Just apply a little, blend it very well into your skin.

3. Foundation.

Pick a liquid foundation that suits your skin type. Clinique perfectly real foundation gives you a very natural, no makeup look while Clarins True Radiance Foundation had gold pigments that makes your skin seem to light up from within.

You can use a makeup sponge, a brush or your fingers to apply your foundation.

For the heaviest coverage, use your fingers. Dot foundation on forehead, nose, cheeks and chin and spread the foundation evenly with your fingers all over your face. Blend in the foundation as thoroughly as you can to avoid that streaky finish.

For more transparent coverage, use a makeup sponge. Soak the sponge in water and squeeze out all the excess water completely. When the sponge is damp but not wet (you can't wring out a single drop of water from it anymore) dot the foundation on the sponge. Squeeze it. Then paint your face with that sponge. Blend thoroughly into your skin for a natural and not freaky finish.

For the lightest coverage possible, for that no-makeup look that still leaves your skin gorgeous, put a little foundation on the back of your hand and pick it up with a brush. Paint that makeup onto your skin with the brush from the center of your face outwards. Blend thoroughly with the clean side of the brush.

4. Sweep mascara on your lashes from the base to the tips of your lashes to open up the eyes

5. Slick lip gloss onto your lips for that kissable pout would complete your look.

Holiday Party Fashion: Keep It Simple For An Easy Transition

Holiday office parties can be quite stressful. Office parties that take start right after work can often be even more stressful. How do you make the transition from your day time attire to your evening wear? The key to making a seamless transition from day to night and therefore office to office party is simplicity and versatility. Here are some great tips to help you look great for your office holiday party.

*Accessorize:Accessories are a great way to take an outfit from day to night. Something as simple as an oversized, ornate, belt, wrapped around your waste can completely transform your look. Your accessories don’t’ need to be over the top to be effective. Strategically placed jewelry can also create a party time look in a matter of seconds.

Sweater: A sweater is a great way to keep things dressed down during working hours. While your dress or top may not be exactly office appropriate by day, it may be absolutely fine for you’re after work festivities. Wearing a sweater over your party clothing will help you easily transition from day to night.

*Shoes: A nice pair of flats keep things business casual in a practical way, but a hot pair of stilettos will have your ready for a night of fun. Where flats to work the day of your office party and then as soon as the clock hits five change into your sassy high heeled shoes to complete your look.

*Hair: With only a moments to spare, and few tools to work with getting your hair party ready can be a nightmare. If you generally don’t put a lot of time and effort into your hair before work, you may want to consider doing so the morning of your party. If you have long hair consider styling it down, that way if it doesn’t’ make it through the day you can pull it back. If you have short hair, style it as you normally do but be sure to bring a classy and cute headband or scarf as well as beauty supplies to work in case you need to do some damage control.

*Makeup: Changing your makeup from day to night is a breeze with the right tools and products. While your makeup during office hours may be a little conservative, you can get it ready for a party atmosphere by just refreshing your foundation (no need to completely reapply) and adding some shimmery lip gloss, and eyeliner. To keep things simple, stick to the bare necessities during the day to prevent any smudging or the need for makeup remover. At five bring out the big guns and put some eye liner on your eyes and use eye shadow for a dramatic look. Simply brush some shimmering lip gloss over your lips and your ready to go.
