Dry skin – This type of skin cannot retain moisture as well as normal skin. It may flake and deteriorate with time and is prone to early wrinkles and lines. People with dry skin should follow skin care advice strictly and use moisturizers freely to prevent premature ageing.

Oily skin – Excess oil on the surface of the skin marks this type of skin. Oily skin often develops spots and pimples. Important skin care advice for oily skin includes regular and thorough cleansing.

5 Ways To Reduce The Signs Of Age

There comes a time in ever woman's life when she comes to the realization that she's getting old. Whether it be the tenth time you bought wine without getting carded or that first time you heard the term “mam” from someone you considered close to your age. While we as a gender have yet to locate the fountain of youth, there are something you can do to prevent early signs of aging. Taking care of your face is a great way to continue to look young. Following these tips can help you stay in your prime for year to come.

Protect Your Self:

Whether your 5 or 50, sunscreen is your best ally in keeping your skin healthy and young. Don't assume you're not going to be in the sun long enough to damage your skin. Just a car ride or a walk around the block can expose you to UV rays long enough to cause damage. Wear SPF 15 sunscreen year round whenever you will be out in the elements for longer than a few short minutes.

Another great way to protect yourself from the suns rays and therefore protect your skin from the tell tale signs of aging, is to cover up when your out in the sun. If you know you will be out in the sun for awhile, wear long sleeves and a wide brimmed hat to help protect your face and body from the sun's rays.

Be Sensitive:

The more irritants that come in contact with your skin, the more likely your skin is to take on the signs of aging. Treat your skin as though it is sensitive and stay away from heavily perfumed lotions and body sprays that can irritate your skin. As a general rule, you should look for non allergenic, non-perfumed lotions unless you're positive they won't irritate your skin.

Fight Age Spots:

Age spots are something no woman wants to see when she looks in the mirror. While you can't always get rid of them you help fade them by using alpha hydroxy cleanser and lotions. It you have extremely sensitive skin be sure to try these products on a small patch of skin before you use them on your entire face. Don't wait until these spots are dark and noticeable. Be proactive in the fight against aging skin.

Be Prepared:

Whether it's the dead of winter or the middle of a summer, you need to be prepared to give your skin what it needs the most. When you're going out in the cold, be sure to moisturize and bundle up to protect your skin from the frigid temperatures. When your going into the blazing heat of a summer day, protect your skin with sunscreen and drink tons of water to keep it moisturized. While these things don't directly contribute to aging, the healthier your skin the easier it is to combat signs of aging.

Get a Professional Opinion:

If you want a more drastic approach to combating old age, get a professional opinion. There are many options available to woman who want to reverse the effects of age. Keep in mind that while these options do exist, they come with a pretty hefty price tag. If you decide to go this route. Do your research to find out who the best doctor in your area is and what each procedure consists of.

Breast Enlargement Pills And How They Work

Fortunately for some women, they have been endowed with nice plump breasts. While some women who find themselves inadequate on some areas are trying to fill them up on their breast. The breast aside from its natural function as a life-giving support to infants can also be a come on and extra sexy. So women who are eternally pining for breast like those of sexy actresses are scampering for breast enhancement pills as alternative to surgical breast implants, which are most of the time too expensive for the ordinary woman to be able to afford.

With the dawning of modern science and nutraceutical technology, alternative breast enhancement came to be. This is in lieu of painful and expensive surgical breast augmentation. The question is doing breast enhancement pills work?

Yes and no. Yes they work. But the bad news is they have some side effects on some women and they could be real bad. Some breast enhancement pills are quite effective for breast growth. Many women have reported nearly a half cup size increase in 2 months or less in some products. Some went from an A to a full B. While still some women reported to be just plain happy with the product they are using. To add to that even older women are finding breast enhance men pills working for them. As thee women are thrilled with the results there is something they have to be aware of.

There is a warning. Breast enhancement pills do not all work. There are numerous that may actually produce some disadvantageous upshots. Yet with some supplements that are found to work and enhance your breast, there are accompanying guidelines in the way you go about your life that you should stick on to get the most out of the products.

Perhaps manufacturers sometimes do not inform their customers about the necessary precautions that go with the usage of the pills. It is imperative that customers should be well informed and educated on the kind of breast enhancement pill they are using. This is to avoid any pitfalls that may happen to them later.

For one avoid caffeine while on the pill. Caffeine has been said to get in the way with process of breast growth. It sort of knocks off balance some hormones that make the pill effective in your breast enhancement. Smoking cigarettes can be another destabilizer. So as much as possible avoid smoking at all times.

For effective breast enhancement pills, check out the manufacturers. Do they deliver as they promise? Money back guarantee and a product comparison chart for a brief overview of the products should be there. Comparing which one is the best is pretty difficult but at least there is a basis for comparison to help the customer look and feel better.

Follow prescribed dosage and guidelines in using the breast enhancement pill. When you follow to the hilt, you will avoid disappointing results. What the pills are for the pills will do. So take them for what they are worth for. Adhering to guidelines and doing as prescribed and never forget to choose the right product a breast enhancement pill that works well with you.

Common Beauty Secrets of the Common Teenage Girl

Is there anything more difficult than being a teenage girl? There is the constant stress of staying ahead of everyone else when it comes to fashion choices and what to wear. There is also the endless amount of decisions they need to make about their makeup. The choice of makeup they wear for the day has all sorts of different factors playing a part.

A teenage girl needs to think about what kind of outfit they’ll be wearing, what clothes they think their friends will be wearing and the complexion of the face. The wrong choice of color can ruin a perfectly planned day. The right choice can lead to an exciting and eventful afternoon.

Leading beauty experts have researched and read all the leading fashion magazines looking for as much information as possible on the latest beauty product and the most fun beauty tips. They are excited to bring you this list of the most looked over beauty secrets for teenagers to follow. Here are some beauty secrets and makeup tips every teenager should know.

1. Skip the foundation – For all of you with acne reading this, the best thing I can recommend is to avoid putting on a thick foundation no matter what. You’ll only clog your pores up and make it worse. Another reason to avoid foundation is that it will cover up your natural, youthful beauty. It’s made for women in the 40’s, not teenagers. If you have a few blemishes, cover them up with concealer, then follow with a powder.

2. Pat concealer in, never rub it in – As you apply concealer, put a bit on the pad of your middle finger and pat it in. Try not to rub it in. It will cause you some problems by clogging pores.

3. Play up your lips or your eyes, never both – Use a nude lip color with a touch of gloss if you will be wearing heavy eye makeup. Keep your face light toned, avoiding heavy blush and wear only mascara on your eyes and a light eyeshadow if you want to wear a dark lipstick. You’ll end up looking like a circus clown by playing up both eyes and lips.

4. Acne – The biggest mistake I see most teenagers make when they suffer from acne is not seeing a professional about it. All the nice clothes in the world won’t make a difference if people can’t take their eyes off your face to notice.

5. Less is more – Don’t you hate those girls who look beautiful no matter how little makeup they wear? There is a reason for that. Less makeup brings out more of your natural beauty. This pertains to women of all ages. Too much makeup makes you look worse. Take it down a notch. Really, all you need is some great mascara, concealer for acne and gloss and you’ll set.

6. Natural hair is always hot – I see entirely too many teenage girls screw around with their hair color and end up with making a mess. By lightening your hair too many shades above what it is looks tacky and cheap. You want to leave people with the impression that you were born with that beach sun-kissed look with your hair.

7. Vaseline is your best friend – Throw away all those expensive bottled cleaners and buy some Vaseline. It is hands down the best eye makeup remover you can find. It's also great for healing chapped lips. Get some Vaseline on a toothbrush and massage your lips with it. Your lips will be smooth and soft.

8. Layers are great for any hair type – It doesn’t matter if you have curly, straight or wavy hair. Layers will give thin hair the appearance of being thicker, curly hair seem manageable and wavy hair the talk of the town sexy.

9. Spend money on key beauty products – Cheap makeup products are just that, cheap. They are made from cheaper, low quality products and are not good for your skin. Pay that little extra for good eye shadow, facial moisturizer, powder, self-tanner or lipstick. Don't waste your time or money on fancy mascaras, cleansers, eye liners or lip gloss. There isn’t much of a zdifference for these products.

Keeping Your Skin Wrinkle Free

Most people wish to have remarkable looking skin. Whilst certain things will be out of our control there are ways in which we can assist our skin in looking younger.

Genetics is one area that is difficult to do anything about as some races age better than others because some skin shades and skin types age slower or and some people are predisposed to naturally having good skin. So let's look at the things we do have control over and what should make an enormous difference in how our skin will look.

Firstly, the old expression that beauty is only skin deep is not true. Beauty definitely does start from the inside with proper hydration and nutrition. Eating nutritious healthy foods will help you have a healthier and radiant looking skin. Firstly keep away from greasy fast food as this will cause nothing but skin care problems. Secondly drink lots of water to assist your skin and body in being properly hydrated and DON'T smoke! Smoking causes skin to age very fast, so try and get the help you need in quitting.

One of the most important things you can do is limit your exposure to sun. Certain people or certain skin types are able to tolerate sun exposure far better than others, but a good rule is to remember that the sun will damage your skin. A tan is your body's reaction to sun damage , just like callous form when heavy manual work is done with hands or dancers that get them on their feet. So always remember to protect yourself by wearing a good sunscreen and hat when outdoors.

Another very important step that most people forget is to cleanse their skin daily. This should be done first thing in the morning and the last thing in the evening before going to bed. This will help keep your pores from getting clogged as well as removing excessive oils and dirt. Use an excellent quality cleanser and not just water and soap.

Another thing you'll need to do is apply a toner after washing to help remove any leftover cleanser and to tighten your pores before applying your moisturizer. Remember to select a moisturizer that suites your skin type.

A recommendation when buying a daytime moisturizer is to select one with a built in sunscreen and at night you should consider applying a thicker and richer moisturizer so your skin can receive the benefits while you are sleeping.

You’ll have hair loss if you don’t know 10 reasons why?

You’ll have hair loss if you don’t know 10 reasons why?

Today almost everybody complains from hair loss. Maybe so do you. But are you sure that you’ve removed all the reasons for hair loss? In order to be sure you should read all the list of main reasons:
1. You don’t wash your hair as soon as it becomes muddy. The muddy hair cannot breathe. Therefore sometimes hair loss begins.
2. You comb you hair while it’s wet yet. If you noticed wet hair is hardly combed. And as a result of it its structure is damaged. You should comb your hair only when it’s quite damp.
3. You wash your hair too often, even when it’s not necessary. As a result of washing too often, hair becomes dull and thinner. Because it loses most of its nutrients while washing process.
4. You often use a drier. Hair begins shedding, but also loses its health and natural shine.
5. You do not use the suitable shampoo for your hair. Today it’s very difficult to choose the right shampoo among numerous popular brands. But the famous and expensive don’t always mean the best. Before buying any hair remedies I recommend to read the following article that I’ll post tomorrow. I hope it may be useful for you.
6. You have just been operated or taken a lot of chemicals. After both of these events begins hair loss as a result of chemical poisoning of the organism. In this period your ration must be very rich in vitamins (especially A, B, C, D, E), minerals, microelements. You’d better drink fresh-squeezed fruit and vegetable juices (especially apple, carrot, cucumber etc.). You can drink them together in equal proportion. And of course, the second thing you should do is to make masks for external nutrition of hair. It’s recommended to wash hair with natural homemade shampoo for a while (see the receipt in my next articles).
7. You have anemia.
The lack of iron and vitamins also causes hair loss. In this case besides treatment with natural hair remedies, you need also eat food rich in iron. I especially recommend you to drink fresh-squeezed apple juice and eat various salads, nuts, more fish, etc. Fish is very rich in vitamins A, E. Or you can consult with your doctor and take some multivitamin tablets. But I recommend you to choose the natural way.
8. You often dye or perm your hair. Regular coloring or perm damage hair and it begins to fade, becomes thinner and dull. Therefore such hair usually doesn’t seem healthy. Such hair needs special care most of all. You should make natural masks to nourish your hair. I recommend you to use natural homemade shampoo.
9. You “trick” your hair only with remedies you buy from stores. Don’t forget that the best shampoos, masks and conditioners that you buy from shops are not enough for health of your hair, especially if it is damaged. Because almost all these remedies contain chemicals thanks to which we could keep them for a long time. But true natural remedies can be usually kept for a week maximum. You’d better use homemade shampoos and conditioners minimum 3-4 months a year if you want to have healthy and bright hair with natural shine. (see the receipt in my next articles). You can also find such chemical free homemade shampoos at the natural shampoo section of natures brands store.
10. You eat much salt or sugar. Everything is useful in necessary dose. Consuming much salt and sugar also causes hair loss. You should reduce them in your ration; especially restrict pickles, cakes and sweets.
Homemade masks for hair loss
Mix coconut oil + mustard oil + castor oil in equal quantities. Apply on the scalp and massage gently. Leave overnight. Shampoo in the morning. It’s a good treatment for hair loss (at least once a week).
Home remedy for deep conditioning damaged hair (from perms, coloring or using a drier)
1 cup real mayonnaise (room temperature) + ½ cup olive oil + 3 egg yolks. Mix all in a bowl. Apply thoroughly on your scalp and hair. Cover with plastic cap, then with a hot towel. Keep at least 30 min and then rinse out. Do not shampoo afterwards, just rinse well. Do it when you are not going to go out.

7 Tips to Home Hairdressing

1 - Get the right Equipment

* Scissors - You cant cut hair without them!An investment in a good quality pair of Hairdressing Scissors is the best decision you can make. You wont need a £200+ pair but spend as much as you can afford on this essential kit.

* Hair dryers - A cheap Hairdryer seems like a good option, but spend wisely. Buy one with as many features as possible, attachments and multiple heat settings are good. You want to ensure your clients are comfortable, and blasting them on full power because you cant turn it down will not get you repeat business.

* Straighteners - GHD Straightenerss have gained a good reputation for home use, as have Remington straighteners, again go with the best you can afford, read the reviews online and avoid the cheap options. Your clients are your bread and butter, and they need to feel safe in your hands, seeing good quality equipment will give them piece of mind, and will ensure happy clients.

* Hair Clippers - Depending on the type of hairdessing you want to do - you may decide you don't need a pair of hair clippers, however for the cheap prices a set can be picked up for, it's worth having some in your kit bag. You may not be intending to cut male hair, but a quick trim can be performed quickly and easily for your clients husbands or boyfriends, and that means more money in your pocket! (You could even offer a 'couples discount'!)

* Hair Products - There are thousands of hair products on the market, shampoo, wax, hairspray, styling mousse etc. Having something for everyone is virtually impossible, and everyone has their own favourite brand so your best bet is to go for some well known branded products. Don't break the bank here. Give your clients the option of using their own products. If you are styling a clients hair in their home you can use their own products, but take the opportunity to sell your own recommended brands. (You can buy in bulk, and resell at a profit!)

2 - Know your Market

You have a choice of two main types of hairdressing, you must pick the one that suits your needs the best.

Choice 1 is the more modern salon style of hairdressing, this style follows fashions and styles directly.

Choice 2 is the more traditional hairdressers, this choice usually requires less training, as the work is less about styling hair and concentrates more on the basic cutting of hair.

Find out what would give you the best return in your area, if you are providing mobile hairdressing services then the simpler cutting style will benefit you best, it requires less equipment and less of your valuable time!

3 - Advertising

Local advertising is the best way to sell your services. Word of mouth will only get you so far, so if you want to be a success, then you need to get your details into the marketplace where others can find you!You can get a free listing right here in our Leeds Hairdressers Directory, or a paid listing to get a featured advert.

Try putting an ad on Gumtree or Craiglist - make sure you select the right section for your local area.Buying an ad in local papers, is usually a good investment, as well as ads in shop windows. If you have a car, get yourself a sticker made with your name and number on (include your website if you have one) and you are getting free advertising everywhere you drive!

4 - Price yourself into the MarketHairdressers generally charge a set price for the work or style that is carried out, find out what others are charging in your area and undercut them if you think you can afford it. Be realistic though and don't undersell yourself, if you develop a reputation for quality you may be able to increase your prices in the future.

Print up a price list and leave it with your clients, leave a couple extra and ask them to pass them on to friends (remember to include your details so they can contact you!)

5 - Qualifications and Skills

A qualification in hairdressing (such as an NVQ) is an excellent selling point and can be obtained relatively easily through night school courses or colleges.Trainee positions at salons are often highly competed, but don't be afraid to learn your trade in a salon then branch off on your own, if you are ruthless you can take some of your clients with you too!

6 - It doesn't hurt to Read!
