10 tips to find your perfect plus size swimsuit

Today plus size women don't have to worry so much anymore. Ladies plus size swimwear has become much more available in choice and selection. The large variety of plus size swimsuits makes it possible for woman to express themselves, to feel trendy and good looking. These days plus size swimwear comes in exotic prints, different types, quality fabrics and competitive prices.
A good way to find that perfect bathing suit is to shop online where the choices are more diverse and the purchase is more convenient. To make sure you buy the best possible plus size swimsuit that fits you best, here are ten tips which you so keep in mind when shopping for it:
1. If you have a shorter body look for vertical stripes as this can visually add length to your body;
2. Visually extend the length of your legs by looking for a swimsuit with a high cut at the thighs;
3. Look for solid chest support with under wires and padding;
4. You want comfortable plus size swimwear, so pay attention to the body length whenyou purchase a one piece bathing suit. If it is too short the suit will start cutting into your shoulders or groin;
5. Try to find a swimsuit with wide shoulder straps: they provide more support, more comfort and therefore more convenience;
6. To manipulated the eye, try dark colours, as they have a slimming effect;
7. For larger tummies, try a two piece tankini: they are fashionable, comfortable and good looking;
8. Look for swimsuit styles that offer extra tummy control;
9. If you think you have a heavy thigh or bottom, try plus size swimwear with a skirt. Skirts are also very fashionable and camouflage those heavy body parts;
10. Sarongs are no longer considered only to cover some specific areas. Sarongs are also considered as quite stylish and come in all different kinds.
Remember the two key factors to look for when purchasing plus size swimwear is size and comfort. Besides that, like any other outfit you buy, you have to feel confident. But, as mentioned earlier, there has been an explosion of plus size clothing supply and particular plus size swimwear so there must be something you like.

How to choose jewellery (wedding or prom)

Matching earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets will look far too overdone. Choose only two of the wedding / prom accessories. If you are wearing a heavily detailed dress then only choose one piece and make sure that it is a plain piece.

Choose a necklace according to your wedding / prom dress

V-neck or sweat-heart dress – a strand of beads or pearls is best for these necklines.

The necklace should fall about half-way between the base of the neck and the point of the V or heart.

Strapless dress – a strapless dress looks lovely with a choker. If wearing a long necklace, make sure that it is short and does not meet the dress fabric.

Oval face – avoid tiaras with a peak at the top as this will make your face look even longer. A lower tiara, headband or back piece will be most flattering.

High necked or intricately beaded dress – a necklace of any sort would only compete with this type of dress, so do not wear one. Instead choose a matching bracelet and earrings.

Choose earrings according to your hairstyle

Upswept hair or a long neck – wear simple elegant drop earrings that will move and twist and catch the light. A long slender neck also suits chandelier earrings.

Hair down or a short neck – small pearl or diamond earrings will be more flattering than drop earrings.

Know All About Laser Hair Treatments

If you hate shaving, are tired of putting up with painful waxing, tweezing, depilatory creams, and all of the time that removing unwanted facial or body hair can take, laser hair removal may be right for you. Getting rid of unwanted hair can be painful and time consuming. Until now, the only options for removing unwanted hair were smelly removal creams, sharp razors, stinging wax or painful electrolysis needles.

This treatment is supposed to be a safe process, yet dubious claims and inappropriate equipment still lead to scams and injuries. Consumers themselves must know the ins and outs of this technique to prevent themselves from getting cheated. The effects of this technique can be permanent, but there is no guarantee. The result of the treatment does not necessarily mean the area will be completely devoid of hair. While permanent removal can occur, the procedure may simply result in reducing the amount of hair in the treated area, or it can lighten the color of the hair and decrease its thickness. Results vary from patient to patient, so please check with your doctor.

Hair color and skin type are the key factors that influence the success of this technique. It's most successful on people with dark hair and light skin. However, it can also be used on people with darker skin types. During the procedure, you wear goggles to prevent accidental exposure of your eyes to laser light. When this light is activated, you feel a stinging sensation. Oftentimes a topical local anesthetic is applied before the procedure to reduce discomfort. The procedure causes a slight charring of stubble. You may notice a strong odor of singed hair, which is normal. How long the procedure takes depends on the area of the body involved. A small area such as the upper lip may take several minutes. A larger area such as the back may require several hours.

Lasers now give skin care professionals the opportunity to offer a series of treatments that are predicated by the hair growth cycles of the body that allow for a very precise method of removing hair on a permanent basis. Lasers produce a very specific form of energy, which is represented as photons or light energy. This light specifically targets the individual hair follicles in an effort to heat them. This heat, which is a bi-product of the light, then acts to disable the follicle and impair its ability to grow. The net result is, of course, long term removal.

Within about 30 minutes of treatment, the area may become pink or red. Clients describe it as mild sunburn, and this reaction usually subsides within a day or so. Because the laser does not damage the skin, no bandages are necessary. If necessary, the doctor may prescribe a topical cream to apply to the treated areas.

After treatment:

Avoid exercise and exertion for the first 24 hours. Perspiration from exertion may increase irritation caused by the laser.

Avoid exposure to the sun for several weeks after treatment. After this period, make sure you apply sunscreen whenever you're in the sun.

Avoid tanning booths — the ultraviolet light damages the skin. Don't wax or pluck hairs between treatments.

Don't pick at or manipulate the skin in treated areas.Don't rub or scrub the treated area. You may gently wash the area with soap and water.

Know about Hair Extensions

Hair Extensions way to get longer and fuller hair. There are many different types of Hair Extensions on the market, but for the sake of simplicity we will focus on two main types of application methods: Individual Strands and Wefts. Individual method involves taking small amounts of extension hair (natural or synthetic ) and applying to small sections of your own hair by either weaving in, heat fusing, gluing, clamping with metal rods or using waxes and polymers.

These extensions usually only last a few months before they have to be taken out and completely re-done. The main problem with this method is taking the Hair Extensions out without damaging your own hair. Hair extensions have been around forever, but recently there has been technological advancement in the industry and modern day hair extensions are becoming readily available and even affordable.

Hair extensions can be done with either human hair or synthetic hair. Small strands of the human or synthetic hair are attached to your natural hair, creating a thick natural long flowing hair style. Hair extensions can be done with either human hair or synthetic hair. Some people love man-made hair for its disposability, and some hate the thought of wearing real human hair extensions. Good-quality synthetic hair extension should be light and airy. The strands of hair should separate in the wind as does natural hair. It should have a natural "flat" shine.

Many people prefer natural human hair extensions as they are wary of handmade synthetic hair or fear it may end up looking not as good as the real thing, Although fake hair is unbelievably good, at the end of the day it is hard to do better then the real thing. There are several grades of quality in real hair and many different methods to attach the hair to your existing hair. Other popular uses are for hair thinning or even hair loss situations. There are some methods of hair extensions that can actually help improve the condition of your natural hair as it grows out. A heated clamp melts the solution sealing the extension around the hair. This is known as "heat sealing.

Human hair grows approximately 1 cm per month on average. The extensions hair most likely has gone through some type of de-colorization process and then re-colored to get it the to color that it is now. There are hundreds of methods used to apply hair extensions and just as many types of hair. The most popular system out now is the strand by strand method made by companies such as Great Lengths, Hair Dreams and SoCap. These extensions are attached to your hair with polymer bonds near the root in small sections. Hair Dreams and SoCap both use a heated tool to soften their bonds so they can be rolled around the hair sections forming a round seal.

Great Lengths offers Cold Fusion; which uses a special tool to create an ultra sonic vibration to soften the bond. The bond is then is folded around the sections making the individual sealed bonds small, smooth and flat. Most extensions, if applied properly, will last up to four months. After this the special glue-like bond attached to your natural hair will begin to loosen and fall off.

How to look Good in an Environmentally Friendly Way

How safe is your morning beauty regiment to your daily health? I’m going to scare you with this next statement. According to a recent study, people “apply an average of 126 different ingredients to their skin daily”, making the collective impact of these chemicals very dangerous. We might not have to worry so much if it was only one or two products a day we used, but on average, we use between ten to fifteen personal care products every day.

What are we to do? We can’t use any personal care products and expect to have any friends left by the end of the day. At some point we will need to use soap, toothpaste, shampoo, makeup, hair removal and, of course, that time of the month women so dearly love. Everyday we are faced with choices that affect us physically and socially.

This following list hopes to give you a little bit of information, and hopefully point you in the right direction towards changing your personal care routines in the bathroom. You’re going to buy most of these products anyway, so why not choose ones that won’t hurt the environment and more importantly won’t harm you.
1.Toothpaste - We all want a big, bright smile. TO help us out with that toothpaste makers add chemicals like titanium dioxide for whitening, and high levels of fluoride. The level of fluoride that we ingest on a daily basis both through drinking water and toothpaste has been a concern for health experts for some time. Even though fluoride helps fight tooth decay, high doses are poisonous. There are a few natural toothpastes on the market or just using a bit of baking soda does the trick, as well.
2.Hair care - The number of chemical women put in their hair easily outweighs the amount on our skin. Just take a quick look at some of the things. There is shampoo, conditioner, serum, wax, gel, hair spray, color, etc. Your hair is absorbent and all those products can contain harmful chemicals. Stay away from products containing petroleum products when shopping for shampoos. Be careful with hairsprays and hair gels which contain high amounts of petroleum derivatives, formaldehyde, phthalates, and synthetic fragrance.
3.Look at the label – Unregulated chemicals are easily the most complicated and publicized issue regarding cosmetics and what that are used to make them. There are certain common substances you should always watch out for. Find out which ones to avoid the most and then check the ingredient label of any cosmetic products you purchase. Instead of reading every label, look for which cosmetics companies use certified organic and natural ingredients.
4.Aluminum-free deodorant - Aluminum, commonly found in antiperspirants, known to cause skin irritation, but also more general inflammation may spread beyond the applied areas. They also block pores, preventing the body from eliminating toxins by perspiration. This reduces your body’s ability to regulate its temperature. Try using natural deodorant brands that don’t contain aluminum, instead. Try a crystal stick which uses natural mineral salts.
5.Petroleum-free products – You’d be very surprised at how many petroleum derivatives are found in not only everyday cosmetics but also in other personal care products like sanitary pads. Mineral oil, paraffin, and propylene glycol are used as basic ingredients in a great deal of cosmetic products. Read the ingredients and look for certified labels.

Lose Weight After Pregnancy

For most women, weight gain during pregnancy is normal. Women usually have to eat more to nourish their baby which causes a lot of the weight gain. While being a mother is a beautiful and fascinating thing, having that extra baby weight is frustrating and a lot of women discover that it’s difficult finding the time and proper “know-how” to lose weight after pregnancy.

With your medical history your doctor can assist you in deciding which exercise programs are best for you and how fast you can shift from one level of exercise to the next. I encourage swimming, walking, running, hiking, playing sports, and an active lifestyle.

Now you don’t have to feel unattractive during pregnancy or gain weight after. You can take control of the problem and lose the post pregnancy weight now.
